My favorite time

I love when my kitchen is clean. When everything is still and I can relax. That is my favorite time, one of them at least.

This is so old news but I am finally getting around to posting a couple pix of the marathon. And I know it doesn't look like rain or hail or any of that in any of these pictures. All the bad weather happened during the first 20 miles of the race. No one came out to take pictures then. These pictures were taken by my dad and the weather was rather nice mile 20-26. Thanks dad! Nonetheless it is was an awesome experience. I put my heart out there and ran.

Other happenings: We went to the USU homecoming parade.

Canned some peaches. With these helpers the process went twice as fast.

Our girls snuggling.
Just a fun picture
Sadie has started pretending stuffed animals have poop and that they need their buns wiped.

And our most impressive event of the last two weeks: Chicken Pox. I didn't even know they were going around until one evening Samantha was hopping into the bath tub and I noticed 10 spots on her back. The rest is history...It has spread through our children. Girls both had it, then Trey, now Seth. The boys have had major cases. I was at Walmart last night at midnight getting the extra important Calamine lotion. I pray the worst of it is over for Seth.

My creative juices are not flowing tonight. I'm low on sleep and so I'm not sharing these lovely experience as well as I'd like. But I promise another blog post soon.

I can do hard things!
(I really like this motto. It is from Sister Elaine Dalton. It is inspiring. With the Lord's help all things are possible, even the hard things in life)
You can do hard things!
