Never A Dull Moment

My poor baby.  Sweet little Tally had an eventful week a couple weeks ago.  She broke her leg AND got the chicken pox all in the same week.  Now we are all caught up on Chicken Pox again until our new BABY GIRL arrives in May.   Today Tally had her cast taken off and the x-rays revealed still several weeks to go til her leg is healed.  She broke her leg at the Jump Zone - Trampolines are so unforgiving.
I think the worst of it is over. Chicken pox cleared up fast, thanks to apple cider vinegar baths.
Happy news in the education department. The three oldest are attending the charter school. Aren't they adorable!  Dressed in school-approved attire: collared shirts and khakis.  These kids are three week veterans now and going strong.  I am in heaven having my days back and doing all the household responsibilities that used to pile up.
Now going back a month.  We met our goal of moving into the new house before Christmas - Dec 22 to be exact.   So thankful!!!  I still walk around the house smiling from ear to ear.  It is so great to be here! This house is an answer to prayer in more ways than one. Below are a few pictures of the inside. These were taken a few weeks ago.

In our spare time we are dancing the waltz.  They invited us back from last year when we performed at the stake Valentines Dance with 9 other couples.  Being prego this year is adding a new dynamic.  Let me find a picture of us last year......we were super fancy
Tom is still sweeping me off my feet after 14 years of marriage!

It was so fun dressing up. I put on dangling, sparkling earrings and everything

The kids on the stage watching us waltz a couple weeks ago.

Trey's invitation for his baptism preview which took place last weekend.  He's excited about turning 8 in April and the special event.

Just a super cute picture of Tally in some play glasses that Samantha was given by a friend.

And finally, Go Seahawks!  My relationship with the Seahawks goes way, way back....to like 1986.  Text me the score because I won't be watching.

About Ready to Move In

Happy Birthday Tom!  He stopped working long enough for us to sing Happy Birthday to him on the 13th!
These pictures were taken Tuesday.  Siding is complete now.  Garage doors are on.  Ready or not we are moving in....can't wait.
A sneak peek of the inside.  It is coming together so nicely.
Now I've got to keep packing...

Today is the 2 month mark

It was just 2 short months ago (Sept 17th) that we (I really take no credit, it's all Tom and a bunch of other people) embarked on this house building project.
Again we are so appreciative and grateful for all the hands, seen and unseen, that have helped build this house.
My Dad, the mighty electrician, knows what all these wires mean.
In the middle of all this house stuff, Seth had his 9th birthday.  For his date with mom and dad one of the things he wanted to do was get was a Kong cone from Macy's

They finished up drywall last week.

Windows, Chimney and Porches, oh my!

This week was full of costumes and work!  Windows were installed, roofing/shingles put on (not by us), chimney chase build, front porch and back patio all put on.  This is exhausting just typing about it.

But it didn't dampen the Halloween festivities.  We carved pumpkins Tuesday morning instead of Monday night. The kids opted for happy well-rested mom rather than cranky Monday night mom.  Morning pumpkin carving was good.  Had fun going to parties and trunk or treats while Tom worked.  He is working hard and really loves it!  We are so grateful for the many hands seen and unseen that are helping this building process move forward.
This year Seth was a wizard, Trey a Ninja Turtle, Samantha Indian Girl, Sadie a Cat and Tally a Cowgirl.

We would like a buyer for our existing home. Praying for that.

Heating and air is done, electrical and plumbing about 60% done.
 Happy November!

Week 5 & 6

Somehow I missed a whole phase of this building process.  Here is the latest!!
This house is about 100 percent framed!!! Amazing.  Heating and Air is almost completely installed.
We have plumbing and electrical starting today.
Yay!!! for the hardworkers.  Tom and Jake have done so much.  Thank you Neum and Sariah for coming up last weekend.  You worked wonders on this house.  You guys rock!!!
